Stellar Drift

Live

Slipstream racing through dying star systems.

About this game

You drop into a frictionless cockpit as star systems tear themselves apart. Tracks are living hazards: novas bloom mid-race, debris fields shift the apex, and wormholes open only for drivers who arrive with enough stored velocity.

There is no simple boost meter. Speed is something you protect — feather drifts, slingshot through gravity seams, and release thrusters at the exact frame that carries you into the next corner. Finishing is easy. Mastering the ladder is a different sport.

Between seasons, the community track forge keeps the meta moving. Hand-built circuits rotate into official playlists, and full cross-save means your garage and rivalries follow you from desktop to commute.

Key features

  • Cross-platform races for up to 12 drivers
  • Seasonal ranked ladders with cosmetic drops
  • Community track forge with curated playlists
  • 60fps physics-driven slipstreaming

The community track editor is the hidden gem here. Spent more time building than racing this month, no regrets.

Gorgeous and fast, but ranked seasons reset a touch too aggressively for casual players like me. Still a 4 from me.

Agreed on the resets. A casual ladder that decays slower would keep my whole friend group around between seasons.

Cross-platform actually works — I queue on PC and finish runs on my phone on the train. Matchmaking has felt fair even off-peak.

The boost-chaining through wormholes finally clicked for me around rank Gold and now I cannot put it down. Skill ceiling is real but the floor is gentle.

Same — what sealed it for me was learning you keep momentum if you tap-release the boost instead of holding it. Total game changer.

Wait, tap-release? I have been holding it this entire time. Off to the practice track immediately.
